The four main factors are considered in this moving pricing process are: inventory, distance, accessorial services, and when you move.

Inventory – What you’re moving.

To get an accurate moving quote, you will need to present an accurate assessment of what you will need to have moved. This includes the number and size of boxes you may have, as well as the appliances and furniture your inventory may include. Based on the items you have in your inventory, we will be able to estimate what we will need to provide in order to make your move as efficient and smooth as possible.

Distance – Where you’re moving to and from.

Distance and travel time required will be considered when determining your moving quote. We can start your estimate as soon as you have a confirmed destination zip code.

Optional Accessorial Services

We offer many additional services that are optional. These services include: piano handling, full or partial packing, custom crating, extra-pickups and more. Please discuss our specific needs with your move coordinator so we may include them in your quote.

Move Date

Are you moving during the peak season? In the summer months where the demand is greater moving cost is higher. A reputable moving company may be completely booked 2-3 weeks in advance. it is highly recommended to book your move in advance to avoid the possibility of losing the reserved date. In addition, if you flexible with your dates, you could get discounted rate.

All estimates provided are written estimates, and will detail the costs, move size/ inventory, and services included. Below are two most of the most common types of estimates we provide:

Local Estimate- (Moves within the same state)

Most local moving quotes are based on an Hourly Rate estimate, where the price of the move will be based on the amount of time the job takes.

The rate per hour will be determined by the number of movers and trucks required. Based on the scale of the move, Trans USA Moving assigns the optimal number of movers to each job in order to minimize costs for our customers and maximize the efficiency of our crew.

Long Distance Binding Estimate

For Long Distance Moves will offer a “Written Binding Estimate”, also known as a or “guaranteed” price. The estimate is based on an inventory agreed upon by the client and the company; however, the price can be updated to reflect additional items added or removed. For customers who select written binding estimate prices, their price will not increase or decrease unless the customer changes the move details, size of the move, requests additional services, or add or removes items from the inventory

Our drivers, helpers and movers are the best in the business, not just because of their experience, but also because of the extensive training and screening each employee goes through.

We conduct an extensive screening and vetting process for all potential hires, including multiple interviews, an exhaustive background check, drug screening, verification of former employment and references. We will customize our screening procedure for you on request.

We’ll be happy to meet with you prior to our move so that we can help you find the relocation solution that’s right for you so that you can see the difference for yourself.
